Are you handy? Do you own "power" tools like electric screwdrivers, drills, or sanders? Can you touch up a freshly painted wall without getting it all over your hair or the concrete floor? Do you blush with victory once a 50 Lb mirror is secured safely to a wood-screwed stud? Are you generally better-suited to home projects than your average creative, literary, nerdy type?

Can you bend over to tie your shoes or pick up something on the floor?

Do you like home-made autumn soup?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, please come over to our house and help us wrap up our minor projects before little V gets here. We've made huge progress on our big projects, but we're looking for some help on a short list of all the little things that we might not get to in time.

We'll make a big fall feast and maybe decorate some halloween cookies as your reward. And good karma will follow you around for at least one year, we promise.

When: Saturday, October 30, any time 1-4PM, light dinner served after
Where: our house, though we may send you out on an errand or two
