Sharon is my colleague at WebJunction, and, like Ilsa and my Sarah Lawrence College thesis, takes no responsibility for copy that I decided to publish without asking her first. At work, Sharon is a trusted content manager, which involves a lot more than making copy better. Honestly, it mostly involves telling me to stop talking, writing, what have you, (but she does so in the nicest way). I have a hard time thinking of a time when she wasn't exactly right.
After work, we've had the opportunity to get to know Sharon's partner Pat, who is most likely the most creative person I've ever met. Most famous for his work with giant squid, Pat has wonderful stories that will make your brain hum with all kinds of things you've never thought of. If you get the chance, ask him about the chicken in the can.
Sharon and Pat are our compatriots in politics (witnessing Obama's "historic" election & inauguration on a nearby big screen TV), art (don't get me started on burning man), and good food (i'm afraid to tell you what that means, you might unsubscribe to this blog). We're so happy you'll get the chance to meet them too.
